Everest Base Camp Trek

It is one of the best trekking site of Nepal. Since the 1st day of trek you will breath the fresh air and can take the experience of local culture. This region is a home of Sherpas, you can closely watch their lifestyle by visiting their monasteries, spinning prayer wheels. Reaching base camp is not easy, it will take you around 10 to 12 days to reach the destination depending upon your health and stamina.

Day 1 flying to Lukla from Kathmandu airport: It will take you around 35 to 40 minute from capital city Kathmandu to reach Lukla airport. The outstanding view of Himalayas scene seen from flight while travelling to Lukla is simply jaw dropping. After landing you can take a little walk gradually reaching to Phakding village. You can easily find hotels and lodges in here to stay.

Day 2 trekking to Namche Bazaar: Crossing Dudh Koshi river and listening the birds singing, breathing the fresh air will certainly energize you. Trek may be long of about 6 to 7 hour but the view of Himalayas and first view of Mount Everest and crossing through lots of suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi will surely makes you feel thrilled. Namche Bazaar is the largest town in Khumbu region, so you can easily find best hotels, lodges and tea shops in here.


Day 3 trek to Thyangboche Monastery: After seeing a panorama view of Mount Everest, Amamdablam, other peaks from Namche Bazaar we head towards Thyangboche Monastery. It is around 6 to 7 hours trek, air gets thinner as we gain altitude. It is biggest monastery in Khumbu region and there are few lodges around the monastery. Staying in around the monastery won't go worthless.

Day 4 trek to Pheriche: The trek from Thyangboche climbs down through Rhododendron forest. After crossing villages, suspension bridges and deepest Gorge we finally reach valley of Pheriche. You can take a outstanding view of Khumbu glacier, Mount Makalu, Amadablam and other peaks from this valley.

Day 5 trek to Labuche: After staying in Pheriche trail heads towards Labuche. With lots of prayer flags and incredible scene of mountains peaks will make you peaceful. You can find lots of tea shops and stalls where you can take a rest and enjoy the view.

Day 6 trek to Everest Base Camp: We heads towards Gorekshep village which is our last destination. It will take you around 2 to 3 hour to reach Gorekshep from Labuche. After checking in hotel in Gorekshep we head towards Everest base camp at the end of the valley to take a closer look of Everest. Mountains surrounding you, view of glaciers, snowy peaks it will certainly be a trek of your lifetime.



Day 7 trek to Kala Pathhar and returning back to Pangboche Village: Kala Pathhar is around 2 hour trek from base camp. You can take a closer view of mountains from Kala Pathhar. After that you can descend back to Pangboche Village.

Day 8 trek back to Namche Bazzar

Day 9 trek back to Lukla

Day 10 fly back to Kathmandu
